We must sadly report that a very good friend of ours is putting his house up for sale. We’re not sad because he’s in any sort of dire straits or he’s being forced to move, quite the contrary they just need more room for their growing family. We’re sad because unless we make friendly with the new residents, then we will no longer get to hang out in such a swanky pad.
The owner of the house and myself have spent a couple of nights working on design projects, not to mention taking part in some interesting conversation and a few libations. He’s put a lot of work into making the house something that anybody with an eye for mid-century houses would love to have. Not to mention the modern upgrades in the kitchen and the rest of the house that make it uber nice looking. His backyard is huge and awesomely (yeah that’s a word) shaded. At the price they’re looking for it’s going to go fast. Hmm, I just made myself sadder…
